  • Performing preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and trailers following a provided check list.

You will be responsible for fabricating and constructing metal components to meet product specifications. The Heavy Equipment Salesperson is responsible for managing the sale activities and order management of DEVELON Heavy equipment. This position analyzes sales opportunities, responds to calls and emails to accommodate requests concerning the availability of DEVELON machinery and attachments. This position coordinates the logistics to ship the machines in a timely manner to make sure we meet the monthly sales target.  This position is crucial to achieve the highest customer satisfaction by performing duties in accordance with current vendor practices and our company’s policies and procedures. The Heavy Equipment Salesperson receives the machine order, allocates it to the available stock and creates the necessary work orders.
 
Responsibilities:
Sales Coordination
  • Responsible for meeting the monthly sales target, including coordinating multiple moving pieces and backorder management to meet the target
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Interact with sales, parts, 3rd party vendors, logistics, internal finance, and operations, as needed to provide customers with on-time, in-spec delivery of products, documentation, and service
  • Establish and maintain contact with customers. Respond to incoming customer inquiries on order specifics and assist with general information (list price quotes, new products, product availability, etc.)
  • Dealer invoicing, including line items (Freight, Pick-up, Attachment, Installation, etc.)
  • Attend & maintain current equipment training events, both online and in person
  • Plan and execute customer events
  • Maintain knowledge of financing options to assist customers with their purchasing needs
Order Management
  • Manage customer orders and product delivery commitments with customer service excellence.
  • Management of machine/attachment orders and machine customization work orders
  • Manage and reconcile inventory at various locations as needed.
  • Provide data to other functional areas as needed (order information, inventory levels, customer historical data, transit times, freight costs, etc.)
  • Support month-end closing process.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work flexible hours; travel up to 50%; Occasional weekend promotional support
  • Professional communication, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organizational skills
  • Functional ability to use computer/software related to role
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales reports& data
  • Forklift experience/ or willingness to learn

PDI TRUCK ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
 
Location: Moncton, NB
 
We are currently seeking for a customer-oriented Truck Assembly and PDI Technician to join our team.
 
  • You will need a passion for trucks and an ability to stay focused and keep your cool when things get busy in the new truck world.
  • A little bit of truck savvy is needed.
  • The know-how to undertake a pre-delivery inspection on a new vehicle and make any adjustments is necessary.
  • The roll also includes installing bling, lights, chrome, tub fenders, and touch-up paint.
  • You will also install mirrors, hood deflectors, and various other components and tasks to make the truck complete according to the customer/manufacturers spec and complete in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Test drives and installing aftermarket equipment will all be part of the job.
  • You will ensure vehicle and equipment appearance and maintain a clean and tidy work bay.
  • You will need to effectively use your downtime to sharpen your knowledge with in-house Navistar training and helping the service department when required.
  • You will also communicate and coordinate work order needs for the service team and perform quality control inspections.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR

We are currently looking for a lively and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join our team in Dartmouth as a support to our Sales Team.
 
This person, reporting to the Director of Sales, would ideally have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, a general business acumen and some accounting experience. Truck experience and knowledge is not required. A valid Drivers’ License is a necessity.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
  • Maintain inventory Database.
  • Maintain Truck Files / Create new when trucks are ordered, file ongoing paperwork and update as they get sold (New Trucks, Heavy Equipment & Trailers)
  • Manage & approve all service work for New Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment
  • Manage New Truck keys for New Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment
  • Monitor status of ordered equipment.
  • Advise Service of new truck ETA’s
  • Register Trailers for Warranty
  • Review & create POs for certain sales department related invoices.
  • Assist Accounting in monthly reconciliations (Open Vehicle PO’s, Truck Deals, Policy, etc.)
  • Manage all truck/trailer movements between branches.
  • Motor Vehicle runs.
  • Assist Sales reps in the delivery (pick up) of Trucks, Trailers, and Heavy Equipment.
  • Assist Sales reps in creation on Sales Agreements
  • Assist in coordinating dealership events and tradeshows (i.e. Truck Show)
  • Take pictures of trucks at time of Check-In/Wash and update inventory on-line (upload on Auto Trader & Kijiji)
