We are currently seeking detail-oriented individuals, who take pride in their work, to join our team in Dartmouth and Moncton as a PDI Truck Assembly / Installer / Detailer.
 
  • You will need a passion for trucks and an ability to stay focused and keep your cool when things get busy in the new truck world.
  • A little bit of truck savvy is needed.
  • The know how to undertake a pre-delivery inspection on a new vehicle and make any adjustments is necessary.
  • The roll also includes installing bling, lights, chrome, tub fenders, and touch-up paint.
  • You will also install mirrors, hood deflectors, and various other components and tasks to make the truck complete according to the customer/manufacturers spec and complete in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Test drives and installing aftermarket equipment will all be part of the job.
  • You will ensure vehicle and equipment appearance and maintain a clean and tidy work bay.
  • You will also communicate and coordinate work order needs for the service team and perform quality control inspections.

Our Bridgewater location is currently seeking a Night Shift Shop Foreman to join our service team. This role is responsible for providing effective supervision to ensure the department meets its quality standards and productivity goals. This role will work Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm.
 
Responsibilities will include training staff in service methods, safety policies and procedures, as well as the identifying and addressing potential operational challenges and health and safety concerns.
 
As part of their duties, the Shop Foreman will be responsible for preparing a variety of reports and managing budgetary functions within the department. By effectively overseeing performance targets, operational goals, and service efficiencies, the Shop Foreman will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of the service department.
 
He or she will also act in the capacity of Service Technician as necessary.

We are currently seeking a positive, energetic individual to join our team as an Operational Analyst. This position is an integral and vital part of the Procurement and Parts Department Team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Communicate with all stores on trailer loads and bigger transfers.
  • Place and combine direct ship orders for all stores.
    • Track outstanding orders.
    • Meet prepaid freight amounts or logically combine store orders
  • Prioritize transferring inventory before purchasing from vendors.
  • Work with Inventory Analyst to ensure CDK costs are current.
  • Manage direct ship vendor returns – tracks return dates and help all stores process returns
  • When introducing new items ensure part numbers are set up correctly in all stores.
  • Weekly look at Flyer parts and transfer / purchase items as required.
  • Transfer fast moving inventory between stores (i.e. oil, coolant, drums, DEF, etc.)
  • Set up SDLs in all stores when introducing alternative products. (ex. Navistar filters / Fleetguard filters)
  • Create DRT claims for pricing and invoicing errors for all stores
  • Transfer packaged items between branches. (package of 100 screws)
  • Create a list of old SOR’s.  Send SOR lists to parts managers and cancel old PO’s that do not have an SOR attached.
  • Meet/work with new truck sales on sold units – evaluate and order necessary parts
  • Meet/work with the fab shop on upcoming builds - evaluate the Fab shop requirements.
  • Work with the Director of Procurement to achieve goals and create strategies.
  • Fleetguard Rebates (MAPS)
  • Update vendor contacts and price lists on SharePoint
  • Manage SPA’s
    • Set up new part and customer SPAs for all stores
    • Monitor and renew SPAs
    • Monthly submission for SPA credits
  • Help all stores with parts claims (EX: short ships/damage/pricing)
  • Help all stores process DIA and Cummins returns
  • Obsolescence – monitor and strategize on how to reduce
  • Review local and off-program purchases
    • Convert improper set up parts to correct program number
    • Order necessary parts on program to meet stock needs
    • Teach correct procedure to eliminate the problem
